I want to support you and donate help
Do you care about what is going on around you?
Do you share our belief that no one should be attacked for whom they are?
Join us in protecting human rights and donate help.
Additional finance helps us a lot, and any regular or one-off cash donation will be greatly appreciated.
In IUSTITIA provides social and legal services to individuals at risk of or exposed to bias violence. Anyone can encounter bias violence. We provide assistance to both minorities and the majority population. Our legal consultations and services are aimed at improving victims’ access to justice. Access to legal services is often hampered by limited budgets, and funding is equally difficult to obtain for related activities such as regular monitoring of bias violence. Your cash donations will be used towards:
- providing direct legal aid to those attacked,
- expert reports required for claiming damages in criminal proceedings,
- court fees that those attacked cannot afford,
- costs of psychotherapy for those attacked,
- costs of travelling to clients (we provide our services throughout the Czech Republic),
- monitoring bias violence,
- training courses covering youth awareness of bias violence,
- development of In IUSTITIA as an organization.
You can donate to our public collections account: 440 660 440/2010.
If you set up a standing order with your phone number in the variable symbol (without the country code, e.g. 773177833), we will take the liberty of giving you a call to thank you in person.
Along with supporting us financially, you can obtain a gift, which you can also give to a loved one. Purchase a voucher to give:
- A world free from violent hate crime
- Counselling
- Education
- Love
- Respect
The vouchers represent an original gift that is useful at the same time. By purchasing a voucher, you will give not only to your loved one but also to someone whose fate means they deserve help. The vouchers come in different denominations. If you wish to give a nice present and help at the same time by purchasing a voucher, please contact us at dary(@)in-ius.cz or +420 773 177 497.
Did you know that you can use your cash donation to reduce your tax base?
If you donate as a natural person and the total amount of all your donations in a calendar (financial) year exceeds 2% of your tax base or at least CZK 1000, you can deduce that amount from your tax base. A maximum of 10% of a tax base can be deduced. Cash donations to various benevolent purposes can be added up. You will need a confirmation from the recipient.
Legal persons can deduce the amount of donations from their tax base if each donation amounts to at least CZK 2000. A maximum of 5% of an already reduced tax base can be deduced. This deduction cannot be applied by tax payers who are not set up for the purpose of conducting business.
We will prepare a donation receipt for you to attach to your tax return. Regular donors who have stated their phone number in the variable symbol will obtain their receipts automatically in January for the previous financial year. For one-off donations, please contact us by e-mail at dary(@)in-ius.cz to obtain your receipt.
You can also support us by donating items or your services.
Those will be highly appreciated! Our primary needs at the moment are as follows:
Pro bono legal services
For victims of bias violence for whom we no longer have free capacities.
Graphic design of materials and printing them
For people at risk of bias violence, our clients, and the general public, we prepare information leaflets and other materials on issues of bias violence. Our materials contain advice on how to behave after a hate incident, basic legal advice, and service providers’ contacts. Please help us prepare and print other materials. We are constantly looking for a number of people.
Additions to our professional library
Our library covers the topics of bias violence, racism, the extreme right, social work, and law. The books are used by our staff to expand their knowledge and skills but also by college students. Do you own a book that you no longer need, in Czech or a foreign language, that fits the thematic coverage of our library? Please donate it to us.
Translations
As foreigners form a part of our client base, it is necessary to translate various materials for them on a regular basis. Voluntary translators are also needed for annual reports, bias violence reports, and other materials addressed to a foreign readership.
Administrative needs
Computers, tables and desks, chairs, paper, toners, envelopes, binders, and other stationery items are in a near-constant demand.
